Cooling off rights

A person who has made an application pursuant to a CSF offer may withdraw the application in certain circumstances under section 738X (defective offer) and 738ZD (cooling-off rights for retail clients) of the act.

Specifically, if a person who is a retail client in relation to a CSF offer makes an application pursuant to the offer, the person may withdraw the application within 5 business days after the application is made.

Equitise has an established withdraw procedure, set out below:

Step 1: Contact Equitise

Your first point of contact for requesting a withdraw is [email protected]. Please email a request with your full name along with the details of your investment and we aim to respond to most requests in under one business day.

If you have not received a response or your email is not able to get through, please call (02) 9119 0585 to speak with one of our team. We will not provide a withdraw based on a phone call and will need an email from the registered email that made the application and with your details to process a withdraw.

Step 2: Complaints Officer

If you are unhappy with the response you have received, please write to our Complaints Officer who will work closely with you to address your concerns, and will update you regularly until the matter is resolved:
